Secure Universal Message Services (SUMS) for healthcare providers. A cloud-based platform designed to work as easily as email. by allowing providers to exchange clinical information in a secure, HIPAA-compliant manner through any web browser.
With SUMS, physicians, nurses, and other caregivers can send text-based messages and add attachments such as dictation files, radiology images, and lab results in a variety of file formats. Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs), and HL7 files are all supported. EHR vendors will have access to API kits for integration with their products, as well.
Two-factor authentication adds a comforting layer of security to the system, and SUMS offers additional identity-proofing before allowing users to send the data, which is encrypted and recorded in electronic activity logs. SUMS will send information but isn't designed to store it. Doctors receive notification of a new message by text message, phone, or through email, and they can then log in to the browser-based portal and retrieve their communication.

The Universal Identity Services(UIS) application is a security solution that facilitates strong authentication to web sites, applications and/or networks.
To use this application, you must first register for a Universal ID. During the registration process you will receive an activation code that is required to enable use of this application. Multifactor authentication verifies a user's identity by combining an individual's username/password with a device, mobile or desktop, which then generates a one-time password or biometric scan,(fingerprint recognition). Once authenticated, users can securely access web sites, corporate resources and even electronic medical records from their computer and iOS, Android, Windows or BlackBerry smartphone or tablet.

What my UX peers say about me
Travis has been a central part of my design team for the last 20 months while we added new capabilities to MetLife's online service experience and implemented a responsive retrofit. His broad skill set and experience made it possible for him to quickly gain an understanding of a rather complex set of deliverables. His methodical process made it easy for us to spot potential pitfalls early, stay organized, and deliver solid results. Working in collaboration and independently, he demonstrated a deep commitment to creating the best possible experience for our users, while also helping us move our design process forward.
Travis worked as a lead designer for a large portal redesign project which can be challenging as the role required working with multiple teams in different areas and on different levels. Confident, independent and personable, he was a pleasure to work with.
Travis brings freshness to every assignment he tackles. He is a talented art director with a deep understanding of the digital medium. His desire to do more than is expected makes him a great asset to any team.
Travis has a practical approach to his work and he excels at creating interaction designs to ensure a quality User Experience for a broad spectrum of users whether mobile or sitting in front of a desktop.
Travis is creative and knows the meaning of a deadline. While working with him for almost two years on a seasonal printing project, we have never had to worry about getting files on time, nor have we had any issues with the files he provides. It is a pleasure working with Travis.
Travis is a true 24/7 design professional. He throws himself 100% into everything he does, is energetic, professional and a real team player.
Leave some feedback on my solutions and process or maybe we can create together.
